Laser Engraving

Laser engraving is a process that removes a microscopic layer in a material with short bursts of energy in a defined area. This creates a permanent mark or engraving on the material. The laser beam is extremely precise and can create marks as small as 0.15mm.

The JPT 60W MOPA fibre laser is a high-performance laser marking machine manufactured by JPT Laser in China. It is a versatile machine that can mark a variety of materials including metal, plastic, and wood.

The JPT 60W MOPA uses a main oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) configuration that enables high performance and fast marking. The MOPA configuration also allows precise control of the laser pulse width and frequency, which is important for achieving high quality marking results. In practice, this means that the smallest letter size can be as small as 0.15mm.

The JPT 60W MOPA has a working area of 175 x 175mm, which can be increased to 300 x 300mm with the aid of a movable table. The maximum marking speed is 7000mm/s.
